Bluebonnet shoots are some of my favorites to do and have been a tradition with my business for years! With my schedule becoming increasingly full, I've had to plan a little better for what will allow me to fit in the most clients while still delivering quality images and making the most of the short growing season. In past years I've done 1-2 mini shoots per night (usually walking each family to the field from the parking lot to ensure they know the way) for 3 weeks. While I loved it, I was gone almost every night for weeks and I want to consolidate a bit to have more time with my family this year. After much thought, here's how they will work this year!
Mini shoots will be available only on select dates, TBA.
A non-refundable deposit is required to book.
I will schedule 4 per night, 15 minutes each, and they will take place back-to-back. Because of this, I will not be able to walk each family from the parking lot; you'll have to come find me (with very detailed directions provided)!
I will give you a general location but the exact location will not be provided until the week of the shoot. (This sounds extreme but it prevents people from sharing the location and the location getting crowded and trampled before we can even shoot.)
These shoots are ideal for young children-- since the bluebonnets grow low to the ground, a child's natural height allows for more flowers in the photos
Makeup dates will be provided in case of rain
You will pick 8 photos out of a gallery of partially edited, low-resolution photos. I will finish editing the 8 selections and you will receive those in full-resolution.
Can't make any of the dates I offer? I will still be booking full sessions during this time and you can request a bluebonnet location. These restrictions are only for mini shoots.
