The one time I photographed an elopement

I have a pretty hard and fast rule about not doing weddings. Big groups, lighting and locations I can't control... they're usually just not my thing. But I've been with these clients for years and when they wanted to fly me to Colorado to document their intimate wedding, AND let me choose the time and location... well that's just a dream come true for my photographer heart. I couldn't say yes fast enough and a few weeks later we were in the dreamiest mountainside location getting these two married! You can watch their story unfold through pictures below.
