Beach sessions are some of my favorite, but they can be tricky! Typically beaches are so open and exposed that there is nothing to filter the bright sunlight, and we have to start right before sunset. They can also be a bit featureless-- sand and water are always gorgeous, but it's nice to have something else in the background. This beach has it all! Plants line the dunes which give nice shade earlier in the evening. And in addition to the water, it has a beautiful jetty where my clients can sit on the rocks for a few images. My favorite part may be that it's set back from the street so no cars drive on this beach! It's an all around winner.
